About the club
UEFA Despanol SC was founded in 1998 in Umoja 2, Nairobi — born from a simple idea: give young people a place to belong, grow, and dream. What started as informal matches on dusty pitches has grown into a structured club with six squads, a women's programme, and a trophy cabinet built entirely on grassroots graft. Today the club trains at Tumaini Primary School Grounds, competes in the Nairobi East Regional League, and sends coaches and players to represent Kenya at tournaments like the Norway Cup and Gothia Cup.
Our Head Coach Derrick Ochieng leads the U14 squad to the title in Sweden — becoming the first Kenyan coach to win the Gothia Cup.
