About the club
Supa United FC is a community-based football club from Lodwar, Turkana County, founded in 1996. The club was created to identify, develop and support local football talent, especially young players from the community. Today, Supa United continues to provide opportunities through its senior team and U13 and U15 youth programs, despite the challenges of playing and developing football in Turkana’s harsh environment.
Established a strong football tradition since 1996 in Turkana County. Developed and promoted local talent from the community to higher levels of football. Competed in the FKF Turkana County Branch League. Represented Turkana County in the Atekeer Cup of Nations in Soroti, Uganda. Continued developing young players through our U13 and U15 youth programs. Created a pathway for talented players who may otherwise have limited opportunities to showcase their abilities. Built a strong community identity around football, discipline, teamwork and youth development.
