About the club
South B All Stars Football Club was established in mid-2015 by like-minded individuals who grew up in South B and shared a passion for football and community development. The club was formally registered as a Community Based Organization (CBO) under the Ministry of East African Community, Labour and Social Protection on 9 February 2017. The club was founded to identify, nurture and develop young football talent while using sport as a platform for mentorship, counselling, discipline and positive behaviour change among youth in South B Ward and the wider Mukuru Slums. South B All Stars is governed by a four-member Board of Directors, all of whom have roots in South B and understand the challenges facing local youth. The technical team comprises two coaches, a fitness trainer, team manager, first aider and administrator. The club began competitive football at the 2015 Koth Biro Tournament and later joined the Nairobi West Maisha County League, where it became unbeaten champions after 24 matches, earning promotion to the Nairobi West Regional League.
