About the club
Murunyu FC is a community-based football club from Murunyu, Nakuru County, Kenya, founded in 1992. Over the years, the club has provided a platform for local football talent, promoting discipline, teamwork and community development through sport. Murunyu FC has participated in various local competitions and is listed in the FKF Leagues system, including the Bahati Sub County League, where the club has competed competitively. In the 2022/23 season, Murunyu FC finished second in Pool B of the Bahati Sub County League. The club has also featured in local tournaments, including the Carlos D’Way Foundation tournament, where it reached the final in 2023. Today, Murunyu FC continues to develop and showcase football talent from Murunyu and the surrounding areas, with the ambition of progressing to higher levels of Kenyan football.
