Makindu United FC

About the club

Makindu United Football Club is a community-based football team located in Chemelil Ward, Muhoroni Sub-County, Kisumu County. The club has been in existence since the 1990s and previously participated in various local football tournaments within the region. Currently, the Club is participating in the Kisumu County League for the second time, with a strong ambition of achieving promotion to the next competitive level. As a community-based club without a main sponsor, the team largely depends on financial contributions from well-wishers within and around the community to meet the expenses associated with league participation. Unfortunately, this has become increasingly challenging due to the high costs involved, particularly transportation to fixtures and other match-related expenses. In addition, the club is currently facing a shortage of essential football equipment and materials, including: 1. Playable balls 2. Uniforms 3. Boots 4. Training kits i.e. cones and bibs. This letter is therefore to request for support to enable the team comfortably honor their fixtures as well as obtain the important football materials/equipment as listed above
