About the club
KANYWEE SCORPIONS FC – CLUB HISTORY Kanywee Scorpions Football Club was established in 1997 in Kanywee, Meru County, under Central Imenti Sub-County. The club began during the era when football in Kenya was governed by the Kenya Football Federation (KFF) and has continued its football journey through the transition to the Football Kenya Federation (FKF). For nearly three decades, Kanywee Scorpions has remained rooted in the local community, providing a platform for players to develop their football talent, discipline and teamwork. The club currently participates under the FKF Central Imenti Sub-Branch, representing the passion and footballing spirit of the Kanywee community. With a strong foundation built since 1997, the club continues to pursue growth, competitiveness, talent development and greater opportunities for its players.
